About us

We are an independant Voluntary organisation set up in 2008. We are affiliated with Headway UK and our work covers the whole of South Staffordshire.

Our aims are to:

  • Increase awareness and understanding of acquired brain injury and its consequences
  • Provide information and support for people with an acquired brain injury, their family and carers as well as interested professionals
  • Assist survivors of brain injury to return to community living and employment if possible
  • To promote independance, choices and social inclusion
  • To open opportunities for work and leisure
  • Expand our services
  • Provide respite for carers

Thinking about Volunteering?

Volunteers are vital to our work here at Headway. There are many ways in which you can help with your time and effort. There is opportunity to help out with activities such as arts and crafts, hobbies and computing. Volunteering at Headway can be great work experience or part of the service requirement for their Duke of Edinburgh award as well as being extremely rewarding in itself.

Anyone can gain great satisfaction from knowing that their free time and effort is going towards such a worth while and rewarding cause and making new friends in the process. Please download the application form below.
